TERRIFIC TUESDAYS :
Fun mornings are planned for preschoolers, their siblings, parents or gardians. Older siblings are welcome, too! At least 1 adult (parent or caregiver) must accompany children. Some activities require advance sign-up and/or fee. Transportation not provided, but carpooling is suggested. Email Marlinda for information and to sign up. |
July 1 - Ride 'Em Ponies • 10 AM
Meet at the church covered drive to caravan to Sam Hill Farms. Bring a blanket, sack lunch, and a camera, of course! Children should wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. No flip flops or sandals allowed. Advance sign-up required. $5 per child. |
July 22 - Kindermusik with Joanna Black • 10 AM
Meet in Rooms 503-504. Preschoolers and their parents will be led through joyful activities using music and movement. This is the best music learning experience available in Elizabethtown! Advance sign-up required. $3 per child. |
July 8 - Up, Up and Away • 10 AM
Meet at Addington Field for a tour of the airport and an up-close look at a real airplane by our very own "captain" Roy Cantrall. Advance sign-up required. No fee. |
July 29 - All Aboard for Fun • 9 AM
We will caravan to the Kentucky Railway Museum for a train ride. Bring a sack lunch and we will eat it on the train! Advance sign-up required. $6 per child. $8 per adult. |
July 15 - Blazer's Fun Zone Play Day • 10 AM
Meet at Blazer's in Radcliff for all the inflatables and putt-putt golf you can handle! $5 per child. |

SUMMER FUN NIGHTS:
Each Wednesday night begins with a 5-10 minute devotional connecting the Bible with a fun application. Preschool drop-off/pick-up is in Room 319. Children drop-off/pick-up is in Room 300. Activities are age appropriate and subject to change upon weather conditions.

The goal of early childhood ministry is to develop a solid foundation of Biblical learning for children birth through pre-kindergarten. Severns Valley provides a safe and secure environment where Biblical teaching, Christian compassion and servanthood are demonstrated so a life-long relationship with Jesus begins.
Supporting parents in their spiritual responsibilities is also a key element in early childhood ministry. Programs and special events for preschoolers include:

- Kid Quest Friends - 6:00 PM (during the school year)

The younger preschool ministry provides a safe and secure environment in which biblical teaching, Christian compassion, and servanthood are demonstrated and taught so a lifelong relationship with Jesus begins.
For children 0-9 months old - we love, hug, rock, and cuddle them to meet their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.
For children 10-18 months old - we provide songs, pictures, and activities to teach them about God.
Children ages 19 months to 2-years-old have a weekly Bible lesson using our Sunday School curriculum. Simple stories, combined with related activities, games and songs, make learning fun.
Safety and security of your children is our primary concern. We use adhesive security labels to make certain children are released to the appropriate adult. The labels consist of a numbered name and information tag and matching parent/guardian stub with the same number.
Additionally, silent pagers are available for parents so that we may contact you in case of an emergency with your child.
The older preschool ministry provides great learning opportunities for ages 3, 4 and 5 through pre-kindergarten. We provide great preschool learning opportunities during each Sunday morning worship service. From age-appropriate praise and worship, to learning centers in Sunday School, our goal is to make every minute an exciting learning experience. Our prayer is that through creative teaching these young children will develop faith in Jesus Christ. |

Children's involvement in our capital campaign is very important. Kid Quest gives preschoolers and children the opportunity to participate in Shaping the Future through "Buy-A-Brick." |
